Bar application went well for me, submitted just few weeks ago. Referees have been pretty supportive of me, references had all been submitted just last 2 weeks and the other day I got an email with my student number, username and password. Not too sure if it's an offer and whether it's secured, but I see good chances that I might be able to get it. Trying not to keep my hopes high but I will certainly wanna fight for it this time round. Remember how much I had went thru last year, the struggle, in deciding whether to stay back to do the bar, or to return home to spend some time with the family after such family tragedy earlier last year. It's still affecting me, I have to be honest. But I'm slowly picking up the pieces, afterall who could have survived double impacts at the same time. Suet is strong!
Right now CNY has passed, gonna hit the ground running to prepare for my CLP revisions. I know it's a few months to go but I can't help wanting to start reading up on stuff now. It's just simply too bulky and hectic. Previously I couldn't care less, not bothered to flip my books, just thought of attending classes and will later deal with the syllabus when the time comes. Afterall who is ever ready for something, or, is there even a right time for just anything? I just learned to flip the books again throughout the week and started reading. To my surprise, the course is really bulky and I've got so much more to catch up on. But so far, I've enjoyed my classes, lecturers have been really inspiring, I have a bunch of lovely classmates. I've been enjoying my CLP days better than my LLB times in Reading, UK. What more can I ask for? (:
